As Southern Baptists, we believe we can accomplish more together than we can separately for the Lord. Even before there was a Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) or a GBMB (Georgia Baptist Mission Board), local church associations were the cornerstone of cooperation among Baptist churches in America.

This month each of us a have a special opportunity to pray for your Polk-Haralson Baptist Association during the week of October 13-20. 

This year, the emphasis for Week of Prayer for Associations, is Community Engagement. 

Each of us can strengthen the work of the gospel with a simple commitment to pray and engage others. Evangelism is simply the sharing of God’s love by engaging our communities. Each of us has a community: our neighbors, our workplaces and even our families. We are each called to engage the world.
